I met these two sweethearts on a last minute elopement the weekend that my father-in-law passed away. What was an incredibly difficult time, turned into some much needed healing and creative light that was supplied by my new friends, Kaity and Ralph.

These two had flown out from Utah to elope in a place that was near and dear to the both of them and after a quick video zoom with an officiant (covid times), I met up with them at Laguna Beach and we created some of my most favorite images to date. Kaity and Ralph were the most kind and lovely couple and more concerned about my family loss than their elopement photos. I was beyond grateful to have met them and have stayed in touch over the last few years. I’ll make sure to add their Laguna Elopement photos in a blog to come 🙂

When I heard they were going to be in the area, I immediately reached out to Kaity and told her we had to meet for doughnuts at my favorite spot and shoot some anniversary photos. Thrilled to pieces, she and Ralph agreed and we met up in Newport for a fun afternoon. Her laughter was as sunny as the flowers and we all had such fun time catching up and enjoying one another’s company. Thank you for sharing your love with me, Kaity and Ralph! I’m so lucky to know you both!
